Andrew consistently builds up layers of pastel to create rich colours with debth and variety. He works from his own photographs, cropping or grouping images to achieve the ideal composition. 'I strive to capture as many moments in my life as possible to
share with the world. Painting is like romance, since it is all about how I see, feel and interpret'. Andrew is a member of the Pastel Society of Canada and the Federation of Canadian Artists. In 2000 he was the recipient of the Spillsbury Gold Medal
Award.
